Located on the site of the old, 5-pin, O’Connor Bowl, Edzar Group envisioned a mid-rise condominium that was to be the first in what is now a substantial group of competitive development projects along this area of O’Connor. We did not want to stray far from its history as many in the area fondly remember frequenting this bowling alley from the 1950’s until its closing. Our branding paid homage to the past with imagery from the heyday of bowling in the 50’s and 60’s, a retro look that tied the palette of contrasting colours to the backdrop of the name. These colours and imagery were extended to all the collateral materials including very bold on-site signage that overwhelmed the team with registrations from young singles, empty nesters, and investors, most from the immediate area.
